Sponsorship of Roundabouts
In recognition of the potential benefits to the environment Hampshire County Council supports the concept of roundabouts being sponsored by other businesses or organisations. Sponsorship may take the form of Planting/Landscaping or ‘Civic Art’ (monument, statue or sculpture). However, the proposals will need to be reviewed by the Highway Authority to ensure safety issues are properly considered.
Anyone wishing to consider sponsorship of a roundabout should firstly contact their Local District Council as there are other requirements to consider relating to planning issues not controlled by the Highway Authority.
