Street Lighting - report a fault

You can report a fault in two ways:

1. Online form (from 1 April 2010 service provided by Southern Electric Contracting)

2. Telephone 0845 603 5633 (office hours) or 0800 048 2437 ( out of office hours) and follow the steps below: or

3. Prior to phoning, check the defective street light number. (This is found on the street light column five to six feet off the ground facing the road) and the road name.

4. Please be patient and wait for about five working days for the light to be attended. Generally speaking faults will be repaired during this period of time (provided the column number is given).

5. If you require someone to telephone you regarding the repair then please leave your telephone number.. Please do not telephone your local council to report routine faults.
