By car
From the north and south
Leave the A338 at Fordingbridge. Follow the B3078, signposted to Sandleheath. From Sandleheath, follow brown signs to Museum and car park.
From the west
Leave the A354 at brown sign, just south of Salisbury. Continue through Rockbourne Village to Museum and car park.
By train
The nearest railway station is Salisbury, approx 9.5 miles away
By bus
There are no bus services directly to Rockbourne. The nearest services run from Salisbury and Bournemouth to Fordingbridge. The new summer open top bus service which runs across the New Forest also stops in Fordingbridge.
By cycle
It’s an approximately 15 minute cycle ride from Fordingbridge to the villa.
Access information
Car parking 5 metres from entrance. The villa site is largely grass with no paths, and may cause problems for wheelchair users. Accessible toilet available.
More accessibility and disability information
Dogs are welcome on the villa site but are not permitted in the museum.
