Runways End Outdoor Centre

Runway's End Outdoor Centre is Hampshire County Councils newest superb Outdoor Centre.  Located just off the A325 approximately 1.5 miles from the centres of Farnborough and Aldershot, it is situated conveniently  for schools in the north of the county, but is also available for any school or pre booked recognised group.

The 9-acre site boasts not only 11 campsites which can accommodate up to 200 people, but Forge Lodge,  a brand new purpose built indoor facility which can sleep up to 48 people.

Another huge attraction to the centre is the range of activities available including new indoor and outdoor climbing facilities, an archery range, rifle shooting, orienteering, caving, and with the benefit of being located next to the Basingstoke Canal, watersports such as kayaking and canoeing.  Shortly we will also be offering mountain biking, rafting and high ropes.

All activities offer an educational experience to young people and our staff are happy to work with teachers and group leaders to join outdoor learning to the curriculum.  Groups are welcome to book a day of activities, or experience the whole overnight stay as well.

The centre also provides an excellent conference facility, with large hall space or more intimate meeting rooms available.  We can arrange corporate fun days, team building days or provide a higher level of facilitation as required.
