Green Infrastructure
Green Infrastructure is a network of multi-functional open spaces, including formal parks, gardens, woodlands, green corridors, waterways, street trees and open countryside. It comprises all environmental resources. Hampshire County Council is a partner in the development of a Green Infrastructure Strategy for the South Hampshire sub-region (PUSH ) as well as being a provider and manager of Green Infrastructure through its Country Parks, rights of way, its farm estate and the highway network (see Transport).
