Map and Directions

From Gare du Midi/ Eurostar terminal:

By metro (c15-20min)

• take metro 2 or 6 (direction Simonis [Elisabeth]) to Art-Loi/ Kunst-Wet metro station;
• change to take metro 1 (direction Hermann Debroux) or 5 (direction Stockel/ Stokkel) to Merode metro station;
• take the exit for Square Pr. Jean de Merode (Exit 7), which is at the end of the platform in the direction of travel, passing the Merode train station. Turn right at the top of the steps, that lead to the ouside, cross the road and the SELP Brussels office is 10m from the zebra crossing.

By tram (c30-40min)

• Take tram 81 (direction Montgomery), alighting at Merode
• cross the dual-carrigeway, turn left, then take the first right and the SELP Brussels office is on the right, 10m before the zebra crossing.

By bus (c30-40min)

• Take bus 27 (direction Andromede), alighting at Merode
• cross the dual-carrigeway, turn left, then take the first right and the SELP Brussels office is on the right, 10m before the zebra crossing.

Public transport tickets in Brussels:

• Single: ("Jump Single"; valid for 1 hour) costs €1.80 from ticket machines, €2 from the bus/ tram driver;
• 10-journey ticket ("Jump 10") is €12.50, from ticket machine only;
• Day-ticket ("Jump 1 Day") is €4.50, from ticket machines only;
• Group day-ticket is €10, up to five people travelling together, from ticket machines only.

From Brussels Airport:

By train & metro (c30min)

• Take the Airport Express train (€5.50 single, available onboard) to Gare Centrale/ Centraal Station;
• take metro 1 (direction Hermann Debroux) or 5 (direction Stockel/ Stokkel) to Merode metro station;
• take the exit for Square Pr. Jean de Merode (Exit 7), which is at the end of the platform in the direction of travel, passing the Merode train station. Turn right at the top of the steps, that lead to the ouside, cross the road and the SELP Brussels office is 10m from the zebra crossing.

By bus & metro (c40min)

• Take the Airport Line bus - number 12 (no. 21 after 8pm & at weekends) - alighting at Schuman. A special ticket is required:
  • Single costs €3 from a machine, or €5 from the bus driver;
  • 10-journey ticket is €21, from ticket machines only.
• take metro 1 (direction Hermann Debroux) or 5 (direction Stockel/ Stokkel) to Merode metro station;
• take the exit for Square Pr. Jean de Merode (Exit 7), which is at the end of the platform in the direction of travel, passing the Merode train station. Turn right at the top of the steps, that lead to the ouside, cross the road and the SELP Brussels office is 10m from the zebra crossing.
  • or the office is a c1km walk from Schuman through the park (Parc du Cinquantenaire/ Jubelpark).
