Apology for delays

We apologise for the delays experienced in the second half of this year.  Due to many changes we experienced a setback in turn around time but we have been and are commited to doing everything possible to rectify the situation.

If you have a renewal coming up in the near future please be assured that you need not phone to remind us as we are making sure that renewals meet their target dates. A reminder will be sent to you 4 weeks before the expiry date.

Increased phone calls make a demand on our resources which has an impact on our ability to meet your requirement.

What is a Blue Badge?

A Blue Badge entitles the holder to a range of local parking benefits. These benefits may be:

• free parking at parking meters
• use of designated parking spaces
• in some circumstances parking on single or double yellow lines.

The scheme applies to badge holders as drivers or when being carried as a passenger.

Badges are normally valid for a period of three years. At the end of this period you will need to reapply.
