Asylum Seekers
The department has a procedure in place that fulfills the duty required of us under the Asylum and Immigration Act 1999.
We work with the National Asylum Support Service (NASS) who provide support to all new asylum seekers that require assistance in Hampshire. NASS provide funding for Refugee Action who themselves organise emergency accommodation and subsistence where necessary.
