• Considerable experience in commissioning, procuring and monitoring services for children and young people, including educational programmes such as young apprenticeship programmes and bespoke programmes for young people at risk of disengaging from mainstream education.

• Experience of developing and commissioning educational programmes with the voluntary sector, and ensuring that desirable providers are engaged and compliant with appropriate quality standards.

• Experience of multi-agency working, including 14 -19 consortia, education business partnerships and external training providers, to encourage partnership working and the development of sustainable programmes and services.

• Experienced staff in contract management providing a wide range of services, including effective contract monitoring to ensure best value, high-quality and optimum delivery.
