What we do

We use a mix of campaigning, policy development, peer support, commissioned research and formal and informal networking to achieve our goals.

2012/13 Priorities

The South East Strategic Leaders priority areas for work in 2012/13 include:

• shaping health service and social care reform
• addressing the needs of an ageing population
• working to keep the economy of the South East thriving
• delivering decentralisation and community based budgets
• ensuring a fair and workable local government finance system
• working in partnership with the CBI with whom we have a Memorandum of Understanding

We will also continue to respond to issues that emerge during the legislative process 2012/13.
