Badminton is a sport for all ages and abilities.

Whether you are looking for recreational activity with friends, or a club for competitive training and matches, there are plenty of opportunities to play badminton across Hampshire and the Isle of Wight.

To get involved in coaching badminton, the National Governing Body, Badminton England runs a series of coaching courses. Visit the website for current courses and qualifications.

Return to Badminton is part of the ‘Return to Sport’ scheme and aims to encourage more people to get involved in badminton, regardless of previous experience. Courses run at centres across the county from time to time – check out the events pages to see if there are any upcoming courses near you.

No Strings Badminton is a pay and play scheme which gives you badminton with no fuss, just fun. You don’t need to sign up to weeks of courses, or pay any fees up front. Just drop into your local session when you feel like getting on court. People of all abilities are welcome and no partner is required as the No Strings Badminton coordinator will match you up with someone to play against.
