Sport England Club Leaders Training Bus near you!

Tthe Sport England Club Leaders project, which was launched at the House of Commons on the 15 May 2012, aims to train and support leaders of sports clubs in the business of running a club and is part of the Sport England Places People Play Olympic legacy programme. This unique national project, which is free of charge, works with club leaders to help sports clubs become more successful, stream-lined and sustainable.

Currently, we are providing training support on business and financial planning, marketing, governance and facilities management. Further modules on these topics and other areas of identified need are currently being developed and are scheduled for launch throughout 2012.

You and Local Club Leaders are welcome to visit the Learning Bus without booking to: Find out more and speak to our Club Leaders trainers about the project including how they can get involved in seminars and apply for our mentoring scheme. Have a go! Club leaders are welcome to come on board and make use of the 14 computers (2 on lower deck for ease of access) to see what is on offer or take one of the e-learning modules there and then.

It would be great if you could pay us a visit early during our time in your area, and to spread the word of what is on offer. Additionally, if you would like to make any suggestions as to how we can use the bus or if you would like to host any of your own training sessions on the bus please get in touch!
