Do More Be More
Do More, Be More is Sport Hampshire & IOW's legacy campaign that aims to inspire people in Hampshire and the Isle of Wight to make sport and physical activity part of their everyday life.
We are running competitions every month, thanks to our generous sponsors, in 2013 that give you the opportunity to win sport-related prizes to encourage you to carry on doing more activity. Join the campaign on Facebook and Twitter to find out more about the competitions, make sure that when you tweet us you include the hashtag #domorebemore.
We have been out filming throughout the county to make our legacy video which aims to inspire people to do more sport and physical activity and be more in 2013. It doesn't have to be participating yourself, but encouraging others, providing them with the opportunity, coaching, volunteering - anything that helps Hampshire and the Isle of Wight get more active.
Our new Clubs and Activities database, Get Active Hampshire & IOW, will help you identify opportunities in your area and if you sign up to our newsletter you'll be kept up-to-date with all the latest sports news from around the county - what are you waiting for?
Our monthly competitions are designed to help inspire you to try something new. This month we are offering three prizes and it's free to enter - what have you got to lose?
May
WIN a Babolat Tennis Racket, balls and towel, courtesy of Hampshire & IOW Lawn Tennis Association, a bag of sports balls or a 30 day classes pass to Basingstoke Sports Centre where you can choose from over 100 weekly classes.
It's the French Open Tennis this month. All you have to do is tweet us and tell us, or write on our Facebook wall, how these prizes would help you be more active this year and include the hashtag #newballsplease. It's easy! We'll then enter you into our May competition to win one of the prizes.
If you don't have access to Twitter or Facebook then you can email us at sporthampshireiow@hants.gov.uk and we'll enter you into the competition.
The three winners will be picked from the entries submitted, by our judging panel.
