Hampshire Golf Partnership Chair
Employing company: Hampshire Golf Partnership
Closing date: N/A
Volunteer role (expenses reimbursed)
This is an exciting opportunity for someone with good organisation, management, communication and interpersonal skills to chair the Hampshire Golf Partnership which is responsible for developing participation in golf in Hampshire. The current Chair has been in office throughout the first 4 years of the Partnership and wishes to take a reduced role in the future.
The Hampshire Golf Partnership is a partnership between the County Men's Union, Ladies Association and PGA; is funded by Sport England through England Golf and by voluntary donations and employs a Development Officer.
The Chair will chair the Steering Committee comprised of partner representatives and Development Officer. It meets four times a year, to ensure that the activities meet the challenges of the new Operational 4 year Plan and comply with best practice in Golf Development.
The successful candidate will be required to demonstrate excellent inter-personal and organisational skills and a track record of successful management. An understanding of golf in Hampshire would be useful but not essential.
Given the nature of the post the successful applicant will be required to authorise an application for Disclosure from the Criminal Records Bureau.
If you feel you are up for the challenge, have the necessary experience and skills and want to take forward this opportunity to develop golf in Hampshire then we would like to hear from you.
