- From the outset, the books proved a huge success:
- "Our class loves them. Somebody said the books were as fun as a new playground." Pupil from Kings Copse Primary School
- "The pictures are incredibly imaginative and also exciting". Pupil from Stanmore Primary School
- " I really loved this book because the author really has a big imagination and I didn't like the fire one that was quite scary. Out of this book, I have many favourites but my personal favourite castle was the rose castle because it was pretty and colourful." Pupil from Ringwood Primary School.
