Hampshire County Council 'Village 30 Project'
This is the page where you can express an interest for a village in Hampshire to be included for consideration in this project which is about reducing speed limits in Villages to 30mph in situations where villages desire it . The priorities for 2007-8 have already been agreed from the applications made before 30th April (see below) but it has been agreed that the project will be ongoing until all villages who want this to happen for them have had a chance to participate in the scheme.
Please be sure to read the guidance notes before filling in the form as they give you some important information about what you may need to tell us. The order in which villages will be taken forward in the scheme will be set by the local Hampshire Action Team (HAT) on the basis of urgency each time more resources become available (so at least once a year). This makes the information you give us about why your village may be suitable for early consideration is vital and that is what the Guidance notes help with.
