Tri Together London
Tri Together is a unique short distance triathlon open to people of all ages and abilities to swim, bike and run together. Following the success of the award-winning Tri Together London in 2012, when over £70,000 was raised, the event is expanding to two new locations this year: Lancaster and Glasgow. To meet popular demand, Leonard Cheshire Disability has also lowered the entry age so children from the age of eight can now sign up for one of the five junior races.
Tri Together Lancaster, in partnership with COLT Triathlon Club and Lancaster City Council, will take place on Sunday 7 July at Salt Ayre Sports Centre.
Tri Together London, in partnership with GLL, returns for a third year to Crystal Palace National Sports Centre on Sunday 1 September.
Tri Together Glasgow, in partnership with triathlonscotland, will take place on Sunday 22 September at Bellahouston Sports Centre.
From 01/09/2013 to 01/09/2013
Location: Crystal Palace National Sports Centre
Reasons to take part
Beginners will be supported all the way to the finish line with training programs, taster training sessions and opportunities to try alternative cycles and racing wheelchairs.
Take part on your own, in relay teams or get the whole family involved with our junior races open to those aged 8 and over!
It's fun! There are lots of prizes up for grabs but everyone receives a commemorative medal, sports massage and cake after crossing the finish line and supporters can enjoy the festival atmosphere with music, face painting and activities for all.
It's a fantastic opportunity to take part in a major, award winning sporting event in your local area - it won London Triathlon Professional Event of the Year 2012 and the Race of the Year 2012 at the 220 Triathlon awards.
Race distances vary by location and age. Entry starts from £22 for Adults (17 yrs+) and £10 for Juniors (8 yrs+)

Fundraising for a good cause:
Tri Together is raising money to support disabled people UK wide so fundraising targets apply. Don't worry, we'll send you a welcome pack with lots of fundraising advice to help you with this. Under 17's are just asked to raise as much as they can.
You don't have to race to participate! Putting on a triathlon event like this requires a dedicated, enthusiastic team of volunteers to make it a success. There are a wide variety of tasks that aren't always obvious to the competitors but will make a real difference to their experience and ensure Tri Together is a day they will never forget. Find out more and register to become a volunteer.
