Everyone can climb with Get Activ8d and High Sports
Children and young people with disabilities aged eight or over can learn to climb at East Hampshire's first Para Inclusive Climbing Club at High Sports in Alton.
The club - organised by East Hampshire District Council in partnership with High Sports in Alton - will be open to children and young people with disabilities or additional needs who are Gateway Card holders*. A sibling or friend is welcome to attend but must also be pre-booked.
Sessions will run every other Sunday from 2 December until the end of March 2013.
Sessions cost £8 per child; the first session (2 December) is free. If a sibling is attending, they will be entitled to a reduced rate of £6 per session
Places are limited to twelve per session and must be pre-booked. Places will go fast, so please book early.

* The Gateway Card is a Hampshire County Council scheme for children and young people aged 0-19years who have a disability and/or additional needs and may require support to participate in leisure and recreation activities. Eligible young people must live in Hampshire and/or attend a school in Hampshire (excluding Portsmouth, Southampton and the Isle of Wight as they have similar schemes).
