Access and Accessibility

We ensure that all children are included in our activities and we endeavour to adapt these activities to suit the needs of all children. We work collaboratively with you to understand your children's needs and recommend a pre-visit to discuss potential accessibility issues

The Grounds

Most of our our outdoor areas are easily accessible. The grounds can become very muddy in poor weather making it harder for wheelchairs users, however we have access to a 'Landeez' all-terrain wheelchair if needed.

Our facilities have been designed or adapted to meet the needs of wheelchair users. In particular, our sleeping accommodation includes accessible washrooms (one of which includes a hoist and changing table), toilets and bedrooms. Some of the bedrooms are equipped with panic alarms.

Should an individual child require particular 1:1 care overnight, our clinic includes a carer’s bedroom adjacent to a child's room and accessible w.c. and shower.

Our classrooms are accessible by ramp.
