If you’re looking for a holiday closer to home this Summer, Calshot Activity Centre is one of the largest Outdoor Centres in Britain. It offers adventure holidays for children, giving them the opportunity to try their hand at activities such as skiing, rock climbing, abseiling, archery, orienteering, canoeing, sailing and windsurfing.
Manor Farm Country Park has been hosting the filming of a brand new TV series - ‘Wartime Farm’, the follow-up to the BBC's popular Victorian and Edwardian Farm series. Head down to experience the historic working farm and meet the animals. There are also events and activities every weekend and walks to enjoy throughout the country park.
Hampshire’s 19 museums provide a perfect change in pace, and at Milestones Museum in Basingstoke this summer, children will now have the opportunity to take a trip back through time on the historical vehicles, as well as meet the colourful characters who worked with them. Youngsters can also experience what life was like in years gone by, from vintage shopping, homes packed with hundreds of classic household objects and even a 1950s-themed café.
You can see more of Hampshire for less with the Culture-All Passport, now only £75.00. The pass gives up to two adults and two children (aged 16 years or under) 12 months' unlimited access to some of Hampshire’s top sites.
