Groups and meetings

County Core Group (CCG)

Meeting on a quarterly basis this group is comprisesed of representatives from each district or borough council, the County Council, Health and Probation. Together have the ultimate responsibility for agreeing the Hampshire wide SP Policy, Strategy and Implementation of the Programme.

County Inclusive Forum (CIF)

Chaired by ROCC, the CIF comprises of representatives from each local inclusive forum in Hampshire, and is charged with ensuring that the needs of all service users groups are meet on a Hampshire wide basis, especially where demand maybe insufficient within one authorities area


District Inclusive Forum (DIF)

Meeting a minimum of twice a year, this group brings together representatives of providers and the statutory sector and acts as a consultative forum for the development of policy, proposals and priorities.


District Core Group (DCG)

This group forms the local commissioning body, bringing together representatives from the statutory sectors of Housing, Social Services Health and Probabation. In some districts the provider sector is represented by ROCC This group has been meeting since 2001 and has taken the lead in driving the Supporting People process setting out work priorities evaluating processes and overseeing the work of the Inclusive Forums and associated sub groups

Cross Authority Group (CAG)

The Cross Authority Group consists of the Hampshire, Portsmouth, Southampton and the Isle of Wright. A primary aim of CAG is to address the issues of the common concern.  CAG is chaired by ROCC.


Service User Reference Forum (SURF)

This group meets quarterly and brings together a range of people who access Supporting People services. The forum aims to be a voice for service users, contributing to strategic decisions, through giving advice on policy development, consultation methods and the quality of services. Each year, the forum elects 10 people onto its management committee which meets regularly and oversees the forum’s work. South East Regional Implementation Group (SERIG)

Hampshire is a member of the South East Regional strategic planning group. The group meets quarterly and aims to develop a strategic approach to development and implementation of the Supporting People programme across the South East region.


The Provider Reference Group

This Group meets quarterly to disucss topical operational issues, particulaly relating to the review process and contracting. Current membership consists of a representative cross section of SP Providers, but all are welcome to attend.
