Hart Plain Infant School

At Hart Plain Infant School we worked in partnership with the County Schools Landscape Programme  to  involve the whole community in the prepation of a  whole site plan to guide  improvement of the school grounds. The aims are to increase the outdoor learning opportunities, to promote more creativity in play and, in partnership with Hart Plain Junior School, to make the whole site a safe place for everyone.

Attendance of a ‘School Grounds Fair’,organised by Hampshire County Council,  provided us with the opportunity  to:

• network with other County schools who had experience of School Grounds Improvements; and
• access support and information from a whole range of advisors from Hampshires School Grounds Advisers Forum
