Swine Flu Updates

Swine Flu: From Containment to Treatment, but advice remains 'business as usual.'

Hampshire County Council continues to keep a close watch on the Swine Flu situation, along with the National Health Service, the Health Protection Agency and other agencies, following the Government announcement to move to a ‘treatment phase’ in the fight against the virus.

In line with government guidance, all Hampshire County Council front line social care workers who provide close personal care to both children and adults will be offered priority swine flu vaccination. Protecting these people will help the workforce to remain resilient and able to continue providing a service to those in need.

For more information about the vaccine, including frequently asked questions, visit the NHS website.
