Transport for South Hampshire (TfSH)

Transport for South Hampshire (TfSH) is a partnership, between Hampshire County Council, and Portsmouth and Southampton city councils, which aims to improve transport for the area of South Hampshire.

TfSH has submitted an application to the Department for Transport's Better Bus Area Fund.

The DFT has introduced the fund with the aims of increasing bus patronage in busy urban areas, creating growth and cutting carbon. The fund will provide grants of up to £5million to a minimum of ten local authorities who are working in partnership with local bus operators.
