Wednesday 10 July 2013

10.00am, Council Chamber, Hampshire County Council

1 .Apologies for absence

2 .Chairman’s Announcements

3. Minutes of the last meeting held on 5 December 2012

4. Discussion on the Hampshire Senate

Councillor Roy Perry has written to all members of the Senate. The Chief Executive, Andrew Smith has written to colleagues in the District and Borough Councils.

It is proposed at the meeting to review the responses, discuss options and preferences and to seek to find a position to go forward and build upon.

The Chief Executive of the County Council will between the issuing of this agenda and the meeting prepare a short report summarising the responses to help shape and give background to the discussion.

The County Council hopes that as many people as possible can attend albeit there is only one item on the agenda, which is deliberate to provide focus for the future. In the time available it is likely that the Chief Executive’s report will be circulated electronically, probably on Monday 8 July.

5. Any Other Business / future agenda items

To discuss any other matters of business and to consider any proposals for future agenda items.

6. Date, time and venue of next meeting

The next meeting of the Senate will be on 11 December 2013 at 10.00am in the Mitchell Room, EII Court Podium, Hampshire County Council.
