Roads and Transport

Lindford - B3002 Lindford Road and B3004 Liphook Road

This webpage provides an outline of the planned works associated with the  traffic management works for the Lindford Road/Liphook Road in Lindford.

The works are due to start on Monday 19 September and are expected to be completed in February 2012.  The programme includes a two week break over Christmas and the New Year.

Hampshire County Council have awarded a contract to Mildren Construction Ltd for the construction of the traffic management features. The works will generally take place between 9am and 4.30pm when temporary traffic signals will be used as necessary.  In order to construct the features safely it will be necessary to implement some temporary road closures, which are described below.

Road closures and Diversions

The works at the Fiveways junction will require temporary road closures to enable the works to be undertaken safely.  These will involve the temporary closure of Chase Road and Frensham Lane at their junctions with Liphook Road, for up to 35 days, commencing on 3 October.

These will be followed by a two day weekend closure of Lindford Road, Liphook Road, Headley Road, Chase Road and Frensham Lane at the Fiveways junction, which is planned for the weekend of 5/6 November 2011.

In the event that these dates have to change then an update will appear here.

The road closures and temporary traffic diversions will be signed, and access to all businesses and properties will be maintained.  The attached plan shows the planned diversion routes.
