Additional Information

The Contractor for the works is Hope & Clay Construction Ltd.  During construction of the scheme it will be necessary to have planned road closures over a few nights and in the daytime on a few weekends.  There may also be the need for temporary traffic lights to allow safe working by the contractor on the highway.  Access to businesses and local facilities will be maintained at all times, but there may be disruption, so please leave extra time for your journey. Diversion routes will be put in place during the closures which will be adequately signed.

Advanced work signs will be erected on site well before the works start, by the contractors.  These signs will include an emergency contact number and further information regarding the planned road closures.

It is expected that the main road closure will be put in place on Friday nights ready for the works on Saturday and Sunday and the duration of the road closures will be dependent upon weather.
