Scheme Objectives
The purpose of this scheme is to improve pedestrian accessibility through easier road crossing and better access to local facilities such as the railway station, Bramley Village Hall and Bramley Primary School. It is also aiming to improve driver behaviour and moderate traffic speeds.
Scheme Description
The works consist of new footway's and pedestrian crossings; refuge islands and build-outs to slow traffic, new road surfaces to aid vehicle braking and reduce speeds, new bus stop hard standings, junction improvements and various items of landscaping.

Additional Information:-
The contractor for works is Caroway Contractors Ltd. During construction, pedestrian access to all properties will be maintained at all times and works will be carried, if required, using single file traffic controlled by temporary traffic signals. There is a road closure in place for a small section of the works, to ensure safety for the Contractors and residents.
