Hartley Wintney transport improvements

  • Consultation closing date extended to 1 August 2014

This consultation has been prepared to seek your views and provide you with information about proposed transport improvements in Hartley Wintney.

These include:

  • cycle routes
  • pedestrian crossing improvements
  • traffic improvements

There is a need to provide local residents with a safe and desirable alternative to car use when accessing local facilities to help reduce traffic flows on the A30 London Road and the surrounding road network.

Hampshire County Council, in liaison with Hartley Wintney Parish Council and Hart District Council, has developed options to improve the community’s ability to access key services and facilities by walking and cycling as well as reducing the impact of traffic on the local road network.
