Box 10a Tudor Court: Henry VIII and Katherine of Aragon
This box contains costumes based on typical images of Henry VIII and Katherine of Aragon seen in contemporary portraits. The costumes can be used in role play activities and are useful as both an introductory resource as well as supporting learning throughout the topic of Henry VIII and his six wives.

Box contents
- Costumes include Henry VIII’s doublet and hose and Katherine of Aragon’s Maroon Velvet Dress and Head-dress. An artefact typical of both Henry VIII and Katherine of Aragon are also included: Henry’s pewter plate and goblet and Katherine’s silver pomander.
- Resources include books, posters, portraits of Henry and his wives and labels for display
Hiring the Talking Boxes
Boxes must be collected on Monday between 12 noon and 4.30pm, and returned on Friday before 4.30pm
