Box 35 Castles and Cottages
This box contains a selection of costumes representing traditional fairy tales set in castles and cottages. The costumes are useful both during and outside the literacy hour and can be used as a resource for literacy and drama, where pupils could be encouraged to take the roles of different characters and act out their parts for the class.
Ideal for use with Key Stage 1 and 2.
Key learning objectives
- Speaking and Listening: To encourage pupils to explore traditional fairy tales using speaking and listening skills.

Hiring the Talking Boxes
Boxes must be collected on Monday between 12 noon and 4.30pm, and returned on Friday before 4.30pm
