Household Waste Recycling Centres (HWRCs), often called 'tips' or 'dumps, are for Hampshire residents who need to dispose of bulky household waste. There are 24 in Hampshire, and one in both Southampton and Portsmouth.

What types of waste can I take to the Recycling Centre?
The HWRCs in Hampshire have an average recycling rate of 55%.
Site staff are encouraged to recycle or reuse as much waste brought to the site as possible. They are permitted to sell on suitable items.
The HWRCs tend to be busier at weekends, particularly during the summer.
