Material Resources Strategy

The Material Resources Strategy (MRS) is an exciting project underway which seeks to tackle to way we manage our rubbish and raw materials in Hampshire.  It goes beyond our current approach which simply deals with household waste and encompasses construction, commercial and agricultural waste too.

The strategy More from Less, has been developed through a number of workshops and discussions with local businesses, environmental groups, resident associations and anyone who has expressed an interest in how the project develops.It sets out the philosophy and aspirations for a different approach in managing material resources until 2020.
