We've spent over £300,000 on new books, CDs and DVDs for the new Discovery Centre.

  We have a wider range of titles including multiple copies of popular fiction and non-fiction bestsellers on the ground floor. Here you will also find fiction, biographies, languages, cookery, gardening, health, IT and much more.

• 

  A huge choice of audio titles includes many in DVD format, as well as large print books. The Discovery Centre also holds the county’s largest collection of sets of play scripts.

  On the first floor we have books on the Arts, and for business customers up-to-date directories, both on and off line, and careers, law and business management sections.

• 

  Our Railway collection has its own space in the comfortable ‘Reading Room’.
