City Space at Winchester Discovery Centre
A trip to Winchester Discovery Centre provides an opportunity to share in the history and culture of England's ancient capital.
A specially-designed exhibition area on the ground floor featuring a changing programme of exhibitions, ranging from displays drawn from the vast collections held by Winchester City Council's museums service to installations by some of our talented local artists. Every exhibition is brought to life by a range of talks, workshops and other activities such as object-handling sessions, with opportunities to explore new hobbies and interests or simply to lose yourself in another era.
With a special emphasis on families during the school holidays, the programme includes opportunities for everyone to participate, and to celebrate the special quality of the city and its surrounding towns and countryside.

Work for Re-imagining is also on display in the Link Gallery at the University of Winchester from 6 March to 18 April and in the Cathedral from 15 February to 26 March (Cathedral admission charge applies).
This exhibition is one event within the broad remit of HYDE 900, a community based project commemorating the 900th anniversary of the founding of Hyde Abbey.
