Free web space offer

Hampshire County Council welcomes and supports community organisations wishing to have their own web site. We can host your web site for you. We worry about the technicalities, leaving you to concentrate on creating your web pages.

We provide two types of website hosting, certain conditions apply:

• Free 50Mb of web space. Apply today!
• Alternatively we can set up a 'virtual server' with 100Mb and register a unique domain name of your choice.

Comparison between the Free Web and Virtual Services

Private individuals, wholly commercial companies, pressure groups and party political bodies do not qualify.

NB: If you are a Hampshire County Council department, business unit or collaborative project where Hampshire County Council is the major funder, your web pages must be part of Hantsweb. Our web space offers do not apply to you.

Hampshire Schools

If you are a school, there is a School Website Service, which provides an easy-to-use template-based system, helping you produce and maintain a professional-looking website without the need for any web design skills. It is an alternative to our standard web hosting service, and is available to schools that have an Internet services contract with Hampshire County Council, but who don't yet have a website.
