Shirt to Cushion Workshop

A really constructive, fun day making a cushion cover from an old shirt - Alice & Ginny kept it interesting for all learners from those new to machine sewing to the more more experienced. Everyone learnt something new and inspiring and left with a well-finished product. I was impressed that we had a machine each to work on and plenty of other equipment to allow us to work at our own pace - another Westy success

I went to see the 100 WATT CLUB Burlesque show in December last year and was totally captivated. I am excited to know that Burlesque has come to Aldershot and am itching to get involved at my Burlesque class on Wednesday!

I have attended in 2010 two sewing workshops with Alice and Ginny and thoroughly enjoyed every second, it was such a treat to spend some true 'me time' away from home and in such wonderful company.

Now I have a new hobby, and a real sense of achievement through all the wonderful things I have made.

Can't wait for the next course.

I can't thank you enough, Westy,Alice,Ginny and Dale x

We went to see the honk project last night and thoroughly enjoyed it!

It had undertones of a post apocolyptic Becket play, where you kind of feel like you may be the last people on the planet, and the people your stuck with? Oh yes they're clowns...

A wonderful journey through clowning and brechtian technique where props become anything the clowns want them to be, a double base becomes a horse, a map becomes a veil and so much more.

I will certainly keep an eye out for them again! oh, that reminds me, the eyes, I've never seen such comic acting of the eyes before!

A pleasure to watch and so sad that there weren't more people in the audience! Come on Aldershot, your missing all the good stuff!

Hi, my wife and I went to the Tag Team Rock'n'Roll Party on Sat night and we can honestly say we haven't had such a brilliant time in ages.

What started out as an enjoyable but low-key display of some of the songwriting and musical talent the local area has to offer ended up as one of the best freestyle music events ever!

Most of the musicians played at least two instruments during the evening, demonstrating versatility as well as craftmanship, and the wide range of musical styles covered most known to Western man.

Thanks to all concerned who organised and participated for a superb start to the festive week and we really look forward to the next event there.

Came to see Peter Green and friends, just amazing! It was a little too hot in there with so many bodies so we decided to move out to the lounge area where it was cooler. It was such a shame that his music wasn't being played through to the lounge instead of having to listen to the bar music. We love all types of music especially metal but we did come to hear Peter Green and his friends. Such a shame.
