Exhibitions

The West End Centre regularly exhibits a wide range of work. Entrance is free to all exhibitions and private views.

The Open Exhibition

14 November – 10 December

This is open to both professional and amateur artists of all ages and abilities. There is no judging or entrance fee. All work submitted, as long as the requirements below are adhered to, will be shown.

Work accepted for the exhibition is broad ranging and encompasses 2D (painting,  drawing, photography, textiles, print making etc.), 3D including sculpture and ceramics, and the moving image i.e. film and animation. There is a limit of 2 pieces per person.

All work is to be framed where necessary and supplied with either a wire or mirror plates to facilitate hanging. Clip frames will not be accepted.

A size limit of 70cm x 70cm has been set for all wall mounted 2D work. No size restriction has been placed on sculptural work, however, if the work is large or has particular requirements for display, please contact the Centre prior to delivering the work.

Short films and animations should be formatted for iMovie.

A commission of 25% will be taken by the West End Centre of any sale during the exhibition. Work shown in previous Westy exhibitions will not be accepted.

Delivery of work to the Westy: Saturday, 5 November between 10am and 4pm.

Work can be collected between Monday, 12 December and Saturday, 17 December.

Everyone, showing or not, is welcome to the private view on Monday, 14 November, 7pm – 9pm
