Westy Choir

The Westy Community Choir first formed in 2008 with about 6 willing participants and has now grown in number to around 40 members who all add to its warm, friendly and fun-loving atmosphere. The choir performs a variety of different songs including traditional folk, world and contemporary. You don’t need to be able to read music as all songs are learnt by ear and are sung completely unaccompanied.

The choir enjoys performing at the West End Centre, 3-4 times a year, and in addition has contributed to numerous local community and charity events, our highlight this year was performing with professional singers Blake, at the Princes Hall, Aldershot.

We don’t hold auditions, so why not come and join us from 7pm – 9pm one Tuesday, during term time, and see what you think!
