Notification of Power Down August 17
As part of the planned maintenance of the computer suite, there will be no IT systems on Sunday 17 August 2008 between the hours of 07:00 and 24:00. There will be no Hantsnet, Hantsfirenet, Hantsnet Pages or Hantsweb service during this time.
The power down is to enable an essential full check of the electrical and mechanical systems to take place, so reducing the risk of unscheduled system failures. To minimise any impact on customers, we have arranged this as a single event in 2008, instead of the usual two power downs in previous years.
With the exception of the Emergency Duty systems for Adults and Children's Services, all systems will be unavailable. It will also not be possible to make telephone calls via the HPSN but standard BT telephone services will work as normal.
