Vote for Sophie
With only one week to go until the national Council Worker of the Year Awards, Hampshire County Council’s Community Safety Officer, Sophie Davis, is among the top finalists but she still needs your votes!
Sophie, 27, was nominated for the award for her work with Hampshire children and is the only finalist from the South East of England.
Sophie’s philosophy is that by educating children about the negative effects of anti-social behaviour at a young age there is less chance they will offend in the future. The County Council funded her to set up a network of Junior Community Teams right across the county and she got the kids litter-picking, car-washing and befriending elderly people.
We think Sophie really deserves this award for helping keep Hampshire safer and more secure for all - and for turning around the lives of many of the children she has met.
Thank you if you have already voted. Every vote counts!
