Basingstoke Now and Then
These photographs are from an exhibition by The Friends of the Willis in 2006 to mark the 75th anniversary of the founding of the museum. It gives a glimpse of Basingstoke 75 years ago selected from over 350 glass negatives from the 1920s and early 1930s by Terry Hunt, a photographer who lived in Church Street, and brings it up to date with photographs taken from the same spot in 2006.
