PaCT workforce development
The booking process
How to book onto a training course
Decide on the type of course you need. Please note that if you are attending a managers level course in any subject area, it is important that you are working in a supervisory/managerial role.
For the next steps you will need to be an authorised Online Booker. If you haven’t already registered for this, please contact Gemma Catlin-Holmes via email to: gemma.catlin-holmes@hants.gov.uk to request a registration form.
Log onto the PaCT website, www.hants.gov.uk/pact
Search for a course by clicking on ‘Core Calendar Course’ and then click on the course title that you are interested in. This will take you to a new page which will tell you more about the course.
You can then select your preferred event date from the right hand column.
At this stage, if you are responsible for booking the training for more than one workbase, please ensure you select the correct establishment details. (This will ensure we send any correspondence to the correct postal/email address)
Add the following delegate information:
- Forename
- Surname
- Any specific requirements (e.g. wheelchair access, hearing loop, dietary requirements if applicable)
- Email Address. This can be your own or the delegate’s but, please note, we are only able to store one email address per delegate. Therefore, please ensure you provide the most relevant address for the booking confirmation, joining instructions and any other correspondence we may send.
When you have completed the booking you will receive a Booking Receipt by email. Please note, this is not a confirmation of a place or that the event will run as advertised.
To confirm the place you will need to print off a copy of your booking receipt and post this to the address below with a cheque made payable to Hampshire County Council. The cost of each course can be found in the brochure.
- Once full payment has been received, further correspondence will be sent to confirm your place and the event details.
-
Please send any correspondence to: PaCT, Hampshire County Council, Adult Services,
EII Court, 3rd Floor North, The Castle, Winchester, SO23 8UQ.
If you have any queries, please call 01962 832036.
