The Role of the Travel Plan Co-ordinator

The exact roles assigned to the Travel Plan Co-ordinator (TPC) will depend on the size of the site along with the measures that are to be included in the travel plan.  Below is a set of roles that a TPC usually undertakes:

  • Promoting the travel plan and alternative forms of transport

  • Implementing the various measures included in the travel plan

  • Monitoring the success of the travel plan

  • Act as a point of contact for staff on travel issues
