iTRACE
What is iTRACE?
iTRACE is an on-line travel planning database. It is used by Hampshire County Council to record travel plans that have been submitted with details including travel surveys, targets set and site audit information. Travel Plan Co-ordinators can also use iTRACE to undertake travel surveys and site audits with the system keeping a record of all the relevant information that has been submitted.
Applications
iTRACE can be used for:
Sending out staff surveys
Providing a proforma for site audits (both electronic and paper)
Collating survey results
Monitoring travel plan targets
Reminders for when monitoring is due
How can iTRACE help?
Hampshire County Council can set up a member of your organisation as a site co-ordinator with access to your company's section of the iTRACE website. This access allows travel surveys and site audits to be undertaken. The site co-ordinator can also keep track of whether targets have been met and to check the results of previous surveys.
By having the information in one database Hampshire County Council can monitor the differing levels of success across all the travel plans in the county. This evidence will allow current and future travel plans to become more informed and more effective.
