The County Council consists of 78 councillors (also known as Members). These councillors decide the budgets and policies for the vital local services which are provided by Hampshire County Council.

Elections are held every four years, giving you the chance to influence County Council policies. The last elections were held in May 2005

You can look up the details of your Hampshire County Councillor, by name or by electoral division, find out which council committees they sit on, and the political party they belong to.

Find out who sits on the County Council's Committees and who represents the Hampshire Fire and Rescue Authority and the joint Committees with the Isle of Wight, Portsmouth and Southampton which makes appointments to the Hampshire Police Authority.
