Residential, nursing, day care and community response practice manual
This describes the Department's requirements for care practices of staff in Residential, nursing,day care and community response services. The procedure describes the responsibilities of all staff groups providing both direct and indirect care to residents. This will ensure that services meet National Minimum Standards for Care Homes requirements, Hampshire County Council Policies and Procedures, comply with Clinical Governance requirements and promote consistent best practice throughout all Homes. All practices are underpinned by the General Social Care Council Code of Practice for Social Care Workers, and the Nursing and Midwifery Council Code of Professional Conduct.
