In celebration of Africa Day 2012
The Fareham & Gosport Multi-cultural Society and Hampshire County Council's Walk On The Wildside Project jointly presented a day for all to enjoy, and remember.
It was to celebrate Africa Day 2012, in Manor Farm Country Park where up to 90 visitors from different communities enjoyed an African style BBQ, guided farm walks; plus a series of interactive activities such as African martial art, drumming, costumes, to name but a few. People had such a good time that they are looking forward to similar events taking place again in the future.

Outing to Titchfield Haven
Fareham & Gosport Multicultural Group enjoyed a countryside outing to Titchfield Haven on Friday 13th of April.
The day was really enjoyable, not only due to the nice weather, but also because of the excellent guided walk given by the on-site Ranger who shared his knowledge about the area, including the wide variety of plants and the many different species of wildlife that we saw.
The outing was supported by Hampshire County Council's Walk On The Wild Side Project.
