  • find out about the different types of transport available in your area, whether that be a mainstream bus, voluntary or community transport
  • contact the numbers and web sites on this page
  • print off the guides and leaflets available

A friend, neighbour, relative or carer might help.

Try the Good neighbour groups who are independent voluntary groups which can offer neighbourly driving to GP and hospital appointments

Also check with your GP surgery to see if they can help with arranging community transport for medical appointments.

Dial a Ride is a door to door service for anyone who finds it difficult or impossible to use ordinary bus services.
