Favourite Places project
The Fareham Proud2B group has recently worked with the Records Office on an oral history project that involved them interviewing minority community members around the theme of Favourite Places.
They learnt new skills through the use of recording equipment, it was also an opportunity to learn about different cultures or to record their own family history.
The art work that has been produced is a representation of the work that happened in this project as well as of what people interviewed told us.
Opening of the Favourite Places exhibition
The opening of the Favourite Places exhibition was a very well attended event, with over 50 guests present on the day.

The textile panels will remain on show at Ashcroft Art Centre in Fareham until 13 October before being exhibited at other venues throughout Hampshire.
